How customers can request account deletion, receive metadata exports, and understand encrypted data limitations.
Request-based closure
Account closure is handled as a request so the team can confirm identity, billing status, family access implications, and accidental-loss risk before deleting records.
Export before deletion
Users can download an account metadata export in the portal and request a full export package from the privacy controls.
Encrypted content limitation
Encrypted vault contents may only be readable with user-held passwords or recovery material. Essential Secure cannot decrypt private customer payloads for deletion review.
