Terms of Service
These draft terms describe acceptable use, subscriptions, customer responsibilities, support boundaries, and zero-knowledge limitations.
Using the service
Customers are responsible for keeping login credentials, two-factor devices, passwords, and recovery kits safe. The service must not be used to store unlawful material.
Subscriptions
Plans may include storage limits, family member limits, billing intervals, and optional concierge support. Billing state can affect access to paid features.
Zero-knowledge limitation
Essential Secure cannot recover plaintext encrypted vault data without customer-held password or recovery material. Support cannot bypass encryption.
