Terms of Service
These draft terms describe acceptable use, subscriptions, customer responsibilities, support boundaries, and zero-knowledge limitations.
Using the service
Customers are responsible for keeping login credentials, two-factor devices, passwords, and recovery kits safe. The service must not be used to store unlawful material.
Plans and pricing
The digital-only scope is Personal and Family, with plan-specific storage and member limits. Published monthly and annual prices are configured reference prices only. Paid checkout is unavailable while Stripe setup is deferred; account creation does not purchase a paid plan.
Zero-knowledge limitation
Essential Secure cannot recover plaintext encrypted vault data without customer-held password or recovery material. Support cannot bypass encryption.
